    • United States and Armenia meet for the U.S.-Armenia Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) Council

    On Tuesday, Nov. 17, USTR and the Armenian Ministry of Economy co-chaired a meeting of the US-Armenia Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) Council in Yerevan, Armenia.  This meeting was the first meeting of the Council, following the signature of the TIFA on May 17, 2015. The agenda covered a range of issues, and included a session with representatives of the private sector. Continued engagement at the expert level is anticipated in order to address specific issues with greater detail.
