    Libreville, Gabon - The United States Trade Representative Michael Froman met today with South African Minister of Trade and Industry Rob Davies to discuss outstanding bilateral issues on agriculture products. These products are a focus of an out-of-cycle review being conducted by the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, which was mandated by the 2015 AGOA. The two trade ministers reviewed the progress to date and the process moving forward. Ambassador Froman underscored the urgency of finding a resolution to the remaining issues in order to avoid a reduction of AGOA benefits for South Africa.
