Mexico is our second largest single-country trading partner and has been among the fastest growing major export market for goods since 1993, with U.S. exports up 132 percent through 2003. The North American Free Trade Agreement has fostered this relationship and it is creating a more equitable set of trade rules as Mexico’s trade barriers are being reduced or eliminated.
