Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Congressional Affairs
Dan McCarthy is the Assistant United States Trade Representative for Congressional Affairs. He previously served as Legislative Director for United States Senator Tammy Baldwin, managing the Senator’s legislative team and agenda. Prior to this role, Dan worked for Senator Frank R. Lautenberg in various positions including as Legislative Director. Mr. McCarthy holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is originally from New Jersey, is married and has a daughter.
