WASHINGTON - On December 15th, 2023, United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will join Congressman James Clyburn (SC-06) in Charleston, South Carolina to highlight how the Biden-Harris Administration’s trade policies are delivering for family farms and agricultural producers and how the President’s economic agenda is strengthening supply chains so Americans can get the products they need when they need them.
During her trip, Ambassador Tai and Congressman James Clyburn will visit Mahogany Farms, a black-owned, first-generation farm that has thrived with the assistance of federal funds. This visit is closed press.
At noon, Ambassador Tai, Congressman Clyburn and, Small Business Administration Administrator Isabel Guzman to tour the South Carolina Ports Authority and a roundtable discussion with local small- and medium-sized businesses.
