WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will be in Paris, France from Sunday, May 15 thru Monday, May 16 for the second meeting of the co-chairs of the United States – European Union (EU) Trade and Technology Council (TTC).
Ambassador Tai will be joined by the other two U.S. co-chairs, Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken and Secretary of Commerce Gina M. Raimondo. During the trip, U.S. officials will explore ways to continue strengthening transatlantic collaboration on key trade and technological issues with European Commission Executive Vice Presidents Valdis Dombrovskis and Margrethe Vestager. They will also discuss these issues in meetings with U.S. and EU stakeholders.
The first TTC co-chairs meeting was held in September in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. More information on the TTC can be found here. Additional details on Ambassador Tai’s meetings in Paris will come at a later date.
