WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai will travel to North Carolina and South Carolina on Thursday, September 23.
At 1:15pm ET, Ambassador Tai will visit the Milliken & Company Magnolia Finishing Plant in Blacksburg, South Carolina. She will tour the plant and participate in a roundtable on Women in Textiles. The opening remarks of the roundtable discussion are open press.
At 3:30pm ET, Ambassador Tai will visit an American & Efird sewing thread plant in Mount Holly, North Carolina. She will tour the plant and participate in a roundtable with textile industry executives. The opening remarks of the roundtable discussion are open press.
At 5:00pm ET, Ambassador Tai will visit Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina and participate in a roundtable discussion with students. The opening remarks of the roundtable discussion are open press.
Ambassador Tai will return to Washington, D.C. on Friday, September 24.
