WASHINGTON – United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai today released the following statement in celebration of Thanksgiving:
“Thanksgiving is an opportunity to take stock of what we are thankful for – and to be around the people who bring joy to our lives. One year after spending this holiday away from our friends and family, I hope everyone can take time to enjoy this day with the people they love.
“Today, I am thankful for the millions of American workers, small business owners, and entrepreneurs that are essential to our country’s success. That includes the nurses, doctors, all the frontline workers, and the researchers and scientists who sacrificed so much to help make this Thanksgiving with friends and family more safe for all of us.
"Lastly, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to the USTR family for all they do to create inclusive prosperity and economic growth for all. I hope everyone enjoys a safe, restful, and happy Thanksgiving.”
